Sweet and Sour

What a wonderful life! How sad....
In the midst of tragedy, hearing of Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter being killed when hit by a car to the terrible things that happened to the jogger it really makes you appreciate every moment you have. Thankful for a loving God that can give peace knowing He is in control yet at the same time asking why and praying for hurting families.
Tonight we had some family time, all 3.5 of us went out for pizza or "izza" as Adeline would say. It was a great time. Then out for "i-ceam" and coffee. Adeline is starting to hit the coffee a little too much - ha ha.
Then when home bryan and I tag teamed her to bed - great family time. I love reading to little adeline, singing (even that made up song: love, love, love my adeline I say; higgeldy, piggeldy, bobidy, boop; it is fun to hold/rock/love my adeline. She loves this song too and sings along (mainly to the parts of Adeline, say, boop, and love). It is fun praying with her too. You can usually count her in for a good Amen. Pastor Gary... we will have another one for you soon. Adelinee knows most of the words to twinkle twinkle, Jesus loves me, and a few others. She knows the highlights to many songs.

Also yesterday we ate at Joe's Stone Crab Seafood. We dined w/ folks in suit & ties while casual. Addy loves talipia blackened. Delicious!!!

I forgot to blog...yesterday at the Sea Aquarium,fun! We met flipper, "fishies", birdies, turtles, sharks, and changed a diaper on a slide.

Addy & Mommy time as the conference started. Bfast w/ Daddy, off to the beach, lunch with Daddy, nap, then intro to the pool. Fun day.

Next we did a tour by land & sea by Duck Tours of Miami beach & Biscaine Bay. To come is either the aquarium or zoo.

Addy is napping currently. We spent the morning ay the beach (which Addy loves now - water & sand).

Miami Beach - our first full day

We had a great day of travel yesterday. A few bumps - like Adeline not napping until 4 when she cried herself to sleep. It was painfully beautiful. Poor thing - normally she falls asleep in the car so easily. This time there was too much stuff around her - shoes, stroller, etc. However are here and had a great dinner last night outside in the Lincoln Plaza. Addy had a pretty good nights sleep in the pack and play. Then TODAY after a delicious artisan bakery breakfast off to the beach we went.

Life in pictures

Life is flying by... already baby girl is 28weeks along in the womb and Adeline is 20months. We have to get some pictures done so I can have these emotional ties and memory triggers when they have their own children.
I'm holding a spot here because I want to be sure and put a picture of what we did Thursday and Friday. (so hold on for pictures to come)
Thursday was photo session time for our little on inutero - 3D ultrasound pics to come soon. Then Friday Adeline and I went out to Hampton, FL (middle of nowhere between Waldo and Starke - just to confirm it) into a huge field of flowers and were photographed by one of Amy's friends. Turns out it is someone we had met before at the Mother's day brunch last year as a guest soloist. Her name is Pam and her blog spot is hekeepsmesinging.blogspot.com. It was beautiful and fun!
