Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!

An excelmation mark for every year... and instead of making folks count I will just tell you it is 9 years today. My dear husband - a good and perfect gift from God. I thank God for these past 9 years of marriage - and a deep love between us. They have gone by super fast. Hard to believe we could be that old to have been married for 9 years. Some pictures from our wedding day and a picture from January when we sat on the bench Bryan proposed to me on 10 years ago.

Again, God is good. No matter what He has allowed we have made it through stronger. I know there will be tough times ahead, but nothing we can't do without God's help. Thank you Bryan for your love, support, calm approach, and flexible nature that help me be a better person. You are a wonderful husband! Everyone I work with knows how lucky I am and how hard you have it! We had a great time this weekend enjoying a movie, dinner, a stay at Sweetwater Branch Inn BnB, and Payne's Prairie together. Thanks to Martha for keeping the little bundles of joy for us! The sleep I had was the best in say 18 or so months!

Esther is 10 months old today!

We thank God for these past 10 months. They have been beyond belief amazing.  Esther is such a ray of joy into our lives right from the hand of God.

She loves her sister Adeline.  When Adeline laughs so does Esther.  When riding in the car I am sure she gets a stiff neck from watching Adeline the entire time. She laughs the cutest laugh with a big grin that shows off her teeth and lifts her head back while looking up.  I’m sure it is to show God how happy she is. 

She is babbling up a storm: mama, nana, aba, ana, dada.  Today the teacher at daycare said that she shouted out mama and raced across the floor in the fastest crawl I have ever seen when she saw me in the window.  I didn’t hear the words, but I saw those hands and feet moving so fast I’m surprised she didn’t fall.

She pulls up and is rather brave by letting go of one object and falling to the next.  I.e: me to Calhoun.  She loves playing in Adeline’s kitchen.  She is into opening things (tennis ball container) and putting items in and taking them out.  Opening and closing all things over and over.  She is starting to sleep pretty well.  I’m about to cut off her 10pm feeding.  She sleeps 8p to 6am with 2 naps.  She is very laid back about some things, yet she likes her certain routines at the same time. She can get a plastic recorder of Adeline's  to whistle.  She loves the tambourine and even seemed to sing with me some the past couple days.

This is at Esther’s dedication to God.  We will raise her to know the love of Jesus and take full responsibility to make sure she is taught about this love and His teachings.

So I have been thinking... okay not too much thinking, only observing. Amazing growth in Adeline. She is so sweet and a great big sister. See how easily she shares. She came up with the idea of giving toys to Esther all on her own. Can you see how it lights up the smile on her face. I am sure sharing or giving for us does the same thing for us as adults. It definitely makes you grateful for the excess to share, as it really isn't even ours to begin with - it is God's. "Thank you God for everything." Adeline says this all the time. So cute.

Adeline is having a blast at the beach. She seems to think going without clothes is normal despite never going on the beach without them before. Esther loves sand. No matter how many times she gets it in her mouth she tries and tries again. She shouldn't ever be a picky eater after all this sand. (oh.. she scratched her eye on the way to the beach - we love the Kids Health Team and Dr. Rosie for calling in some antibiotic ointment.) We love the Ricketts and Douglas'. Our kids are having so much fun. Then again, so are we :)

Fun at the Park

We had a blast with some friends (even got to know some new ones) today. Adeline got to run around with a kite. Esther crawled around with several other babies. We ate our first real watermelon of the summer and it was delicious. Uncle Chad made some yummy burger and hot dogs. Aunt Annie brought sidewalk chalk. Great time, great friends (and family), fun stuff - a great day! Thank you God - for it was great!

Flower photo session

We had soooo much fun tonight. Adeline, Esther and myself went out to Hampton, FL - CR 18 between Waldo and Stark. Obvious to see the beauty of God. Flowers were everywhere! Pam Saxon was wonderful and makes you forget you are being photographed even. It seems to natural. I can hardly wait to see what she captured. Keep your eyes peeled to her website hekeepsmesinging.blogspot.com. There was so much more to it than even the flowers.... a grapevine, a tractor, a barn, trees, and of course the beautiful flowers. Esther and Adeline did great. We bribed Adeline with some jelly beans and gum. Esther was bribed with tickles and hugs. I hope to make this a tradition.

Easter! Jesus is Alive!!!

Adeline is still reading a book that talks about Easter not being about candy, finding eggs, and baby chicks. She also still says Mary when you ask her who rode in on a donkey.
