Come have FUN with the Conrads!!!

We lean on Jesus as He is our strength for everyday.
1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Windows Live Writer

I just found out about this nifty way to add new post to the blog using a tool from Microsoft (who would have guessed?!?)

We will have to see if this actually makes me post more often.

Blogs I am finding cool; sites for kids

So I am scouting out Rocks in My dryer blog. I read this is a cool site and a somewhat original blogger. I don't want to loose this site. So I'm throwing it in here ;) Kids links from the above blogger. I haven't checked them out just yet. Also.. I found "Christian Women Online" that seems pretty cool. One really good devotional for the month of February; it is set up like a magazine.

For all my Frugal Friends - a post for frugality

Okay... I am all about sharing tidbits. And not just pineapple recipes either! ha ha!!

So Bryan hooked me up with Google Reader! I have been following a blog via my phone titled "Chief Family Officer(CFO)". Her blog is more like a job in all she shares and if you use links within her blog she gets "bucks" and stuff. So I do think she does it for more than just sharing, but hey go for it I say.
I wanted to share some things I am considering. Starting a "Price Book" (click on the link to see her post on it). I plan to make my version in excel and then load it to google documents that I can then pull up on my phone while at the store. I really do get frustrated when I am at say Publix and I see that they have dog food on sale and I have no clue if it is $10 more or $2 less than what I pay at Target Vs Walmart. So I plan to start keeping track and hopefully in a few months might have some good data to make some good decisions on good buys, etc.

She also talks (The Drugstore Game) about making money from Walgreens and CVS by using coupons and mail in rebates. Just today I printed off a coupon from the internet for $3 off of a $15 purchase. That is an awesome return, esp when most coupons are for 50 cents in the paper. So I plan to start keeping an eye out for CVS and WG. She really makes money and buys like 4 razors to earn $5 and get 4 razors. Her husband must get a new razor everyday because even this week she was talking about the deal on razors. Some items she buys she doesn't even find useful, just for the $$$. If anyone does make money like this I would love to hear of it.

Another cool thing: She talks about recalls. Though I haven't signed up myself (like she encourages you to) I plan to do so. Her blog is a good reminder and she even posts pictures of the item being recalled. And she even mentioned the peanut butter issues with links, etc in another post (see link).

So... I get nothing from this, but check out this blog. And also let me know what you think about the "price book".

Another note just to share what Bryan has show me is igoogle. It is like a homepage for all my blogs, gmail (that I'm considering switching to), weather, Bible verse of the day, and much much more.

okay... my work here is done. I have shared way more than I really know, perfect way to end a blog.

Photo session: Essie at 6 months

We had Pam Saxon come to our home and spend some time with us. She was wonderful as you can tell and these are only the sneak preview pics. She did Adeline's flower photos this past spring and we are in love with the talent God has given her and the effort she has put into perfecting it. Glory to God. Her daughter Brooke came over (just turned 3) and I had the heart melting opportunity to hear squealing for the first time in my home. And it was my daughter having a blast. It was a memory for a lifetime. If you are interested in Pam's work check out her photo blog at www.hekeepsmesinging.blogspot.com. I would love to share more details as well if you are interested!
Essie at 6 months is now sitting very well. Rocking on all 4s and even moving forward amry crawl comando style when she has the right motivation. She has been going backwards at Sonshine Day for weeks. She loves loves loves to rock the exercauser until it about flips. I hear too that she likes the jumperoo at Sonshine as well (I can tell b/c she loves to bounce up and down in my lap). She talks too. She is refusing to eat rice cereal so much so she uses rasberries to spit it out. So we tried sweet potatoes and so far only one episode of a little rasberry. She is now spitting them out in effort to swallow. This I know how to work with.
Adeline is full of sentences and asking questions and wanting to know the different tree names. She knows her shapes, colors, counts to 12 then 20, sings her ABCs, knows the name of the first letter of her friends at school and B is for Daddy's name. She calls us Bryan and Suzanne at times. She is such a sponge. She loves her sister with kisses, hugs, dances on the bed, helping her sit back up when she falls, holds her, etc. She got to feed Essie some of her first cereal. She is trying to ride her tricycle and can really but lacks interest. She loves her sand box on the porch. She loves people, the mall, and Moes. She will eat broccoli over just about any other food (I ate a ton when prego with her). I actually eat a ton unless nursing babies so maybe that is why! She loves her Daddy and helps him carry the morning items out to the car. She walks calhoun and reprimands him. We watched Lady and the Tramp today for the first time and she wanted to put the bad doggies in time out for bad choices - all on her own initiative. She loves to watch Hi-5. She use to love Miss. Pattycake, but she has fallen out of favor to hi-5. She loves "my music" when in the car.
God is so good to us.
Esther has just started sleeping through the night (again, even though the last last time was months ago). Tonight is their first night in the same bedroom. Adeline was thrilled to have her in there tonight! We shall see how this goes.

South Carolina

We had a great time with my folks, bro Andy, and grandparents. Though we missed a chance for a four generation photo we still had a great time and lots of good photos (to follow). We had Christmas and even got a chance to run downtown Charleston. Though i must admit i felt more like a tourist than one that lived there for 14 yrs. We even took, a photo,of,bry, myself and the girls on the bench where bryan proposed....awe!!! SO MANNY BLESSINGS ON ONE BENCH. Thanks to Andy and Mom for getting the photo. this is all coming from a phone entry.
South Carolina:I'm going to Carolina in my mind.
Actually James Taylor, we already were there & it was wonderful. We had 4 generations together.
