Come have FUN with the Conrads!!!

We lean on Jesus as He is our strength for everyday.
1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Fall fun at Coon Hollow Corn Maze

We joined up with the sweet Tilley family and one of their Home school groups for a field trip. We went to Coon Hollow over in Micanopy. We had great fun exploring through the corn maze that was just perfect for us. It had posts with stamps that you were to collect. We collected 9 out of 14 or something like that.
Then off to climb the hay bales! Essie needs to thank Gracie for helping her up the top one :)

We had tons of fun in the corn!

We even went on a hay ride to feed the cows. I never knew they had such long tongues.

Fun at Universal

So we had an EPIC adventure with my folks and brother at Universal.
Times are changing as below you can see we have 2 very patient girls waiting for us to get our tickets activated:

Here we are riding on the Seusland Carosel:

This fun ride went up in the ari and had fishes spitting water on you. I was thinking we were going to finish it and stay dry when both girls were getting sad they were dry. I had to force it into water! It was sucessful, only girls got wet!!!

essie and adeline found sleeping:

Adeline has been learning about elephants and was amazed at this one and told me it was Asian because it only has one finger on its trunk!

Instead of knee high to a grasshopper my girls are now knee high to a giraffe:

Adeline Art

Adeline describes this as a girl moving a moutain and worshiping God. She loves writing her initials.
Didn't get the story on this one, but I just love it!
This is special! She said it is a picture of her and I. Sweet!!!
This is a sweet picture of a momma bird bringing
a worm back to feed her babies. You might need
to cock your head to the side, but it is there.
sorry Adeline I got the picture wet!

Adeline's First Movie!!! (videos should work now!)

Bryan just asked Adeline if she wanted to make a movie.  Off they went and this is what she came up with (below is the same event just a different creative process!):
This is the trailer of her movie.  Don't worry it doesn't give away the plot!

Bike Riding

Adeline will be 5 this summer, so she is really 4 years old. Esther will be 3 this summer, so really she is only 2 years old!!! 2.. can you believe it, I guess you don't know until I tell you what she did.

Yet both girls have taken to riding the big girl bikes (with training wheels).  We just started trying this again about 2-3 weeks ago.  Friday of last week we had a friend join us for dinner and we went for a ride after dinner.  This was the first time Essie started steerring most of the time without running into the curb.  So of course that means Bryan is ready to take them to the Village Center the very next day.  It is just a tad further than 0.5miles.  They had ridden at most .25 miles in one trip.  So off they go giving me some time to get a project done (turning my blog into a book by the way... due to arrive 7/20 and I am so excited).  So I watch them leaving and thinking if they make it around the corner chances are I will get a call to pick them up at the Village Center. There was a 50% chance Essie wouldn't make it around the corner.  Of course she surpassed my expectations :)  Which lead to my next amazement that they made the whole trip.   Here is the picture after they arrived home!  My EPIC adventurers!!! Be bold be brave as one of the VBS songs went this year!
