What an awesome day! We (Adeline, Calhoun, Bryan and I) started out walking in Haile, our neighborhood, enjoying the fresh market and buying a blueberry muffin to share. We ran into Dr. Johnson who delivered Adeline and got to tell him about our new bun in the oven (13 weeks).
Next Adeline went off to Hoggetowne Medieval faire at the fairgrounds here in town. We saw all sorts of neat stuff. We saw elephants, camels, folks dressed up, horses, belly dancers, fire jugglers, mini horses. Adeline would not ride on the mini horses. I like the caution she exhibits. We did all of this with Stephanie W., her special friend Travis, Lindsay S, from work, and her 5 yr old son Sebastian. It was a great time.
Then we came home, Addy napped while bryan and I watched the Gator B-ball game (they lost). Next we went to the Veterans park just down the road b/c it was a BEAUTIFUL day. We took shovels, rakes, sifter, bunny mold and bucket and played in the sand until a poppy diaper appeared. Bryan buried Addy up to her waist in sand. She is such a good sport. She tried to bury Bryan and myself with little handfuls of sand at a time. She would also dig her hands down deep in the sand just like she saw her dada do. With a half clean hind end we headed home, bryan bathed Addy and off we went to I Love NY pizza. Addy loves "izza". Then after enjoying it from outside we headed home.
With Addy sound asleep. We started working on a "Lost" puzzle. Next thing you know we have Martha and Bill delivering the best tasting strawberries ever. Could be a better day!
What a blessed day of time with family and some friends too.
Too bad the camera batteries were - DEAD :(
