Come have FUN with the Conrads!!!

We lean on Jesus as He is our strength for everyday.
1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Essie is 21 months

What a cutie pie… Her smile continues to light up my world. What a sweet gift from God.  It is crazy to think when Adeline was this age I was pregnant.  Though this age is just so sweet I can see why I felt so guilty about ending her only child status.  Both girls love each other a ton and it is evident by having the two of them that love grew exponentially more and really I was depriving Adeline…haha!

So back to Essie.  She has her teachers at Sonshine Day mesmerized.  They love her and that is a fact.  They get so excited to tell us all she is doing.  They are sweet too by saying what good parents we are, knowing full well they see our mistakes too.

So Essie has a TON of words.  I think I am beyond trying to name them all.  She does say some cute ones:  high in a sweet sweet voice with pitch changes, thank you is super sweet, and a deep voice for calling me or bryan to look her way.  She demands attention sometimes.  Something I don’t think Adeline ever did (or maybe didn’t have to do).   This girl has spunk and at times a strut too! She softly oozes confidence – most of the time and sometimes it is a strong confidence. She means no when she says so.  And here lately she says it for fun to just about everything until you tickle her.  She has a night time snuggly and likes to turn on ocean sounds to go to sleep.  She and Adeline actually go to sleep very easily at home this past month.  She will say in her deep voice, Hi, to strangers and give high 5’s to them too.

She has had an ear for an airplane in the past couple weeks and explains they are high.  She actually calls your attention to noises of any sort.  She spots a truck a mile away and often thinks she see’s Papa’s truck.  She loves buses, but seems to still want to call them trains from time to time.  She also can’t seem to keep cows and horses straight.  But loves to call out when either are near (or far away). She still calls out at night with the loudest deepest “ma…ma”.  If the neighbors were up they would hear for sure!
